Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Process Consultant to join our client's finance transformation team. This role will focus on optimizing, standardizing, and supporting FP&A processes to Fortune 100 clients and driving business insights, enhance forecasting accuracy, and enable strategic decision-making role objective.
Responsibilities
- Assess, design, and optimize FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Identify automation opportunities and deploy digital solutions such as Oracle Hyperion, Anaplan, and Power BI.
- Develop and standardize operating procedures for FP&A activities.
- Enhance and standardize budgeting and forecasting cycles in collaboration with cross-functional teams and technology partners.
- Consolidate and analyze financial data to provide insights, explain variances, and deliver strategic recommendations tailored to industry needs.
- Rationalize and develop management reporting packages, dashboards, and KPIs, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Partner with stakeholders, train end-users, and mentor FP&A consulting teams.
Skills & Experience
- 3 to 8 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or process improvement within a specific Industry or consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of FP&A processes, financial modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Experience with process automation (RPA, macros, scripting).
- Familiarity with consulting business models and operating models (e.g., time & materials, fixed fee).
- Change management or process improvement certifications (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
