Responsibilities
- The work you’ll do-
- Lead the creative and editorial direction for large, high-visibility, cross-channel campaigns and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with creative directors, senior marketing and business leaders to define communications priorities, shape messaging strategies, and guide creative approaches for complex business issues.
- Provide senior-level counsel to stakeholders on brand, messaging, audience strategy, and campaign effectiveness.
- Oversee the development of campaign copy and creative narratives across channels, including web, social, email, video, experiential, thought leadership, executive communications, and major brand initiatives.
- Set and uphold the highest standards for creative excellence, editorial rigor, and brand consistency across the portfolio.
- Drive innovation in how the team uses approved AI tools, new channels, and emerging creative practices to improve quality, efficiency, and scale.
- Lead managers and senior creatives, providing direction, coaching, and developmental feedback to strengthen team capability and succession.
- Build trusted relationships across a matrixed organization and influence outcomes with senior stakeholders in the US market.
- Oversee complex project portfolios, balancing business priorities, resourcing, timelines, and changing stakeholder requirements.
- Lead internal strategic initiatives, capability-building efforts, and continuous improvement across the creative function.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers, and specialist partners, as needed.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Advertising, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- 15+ years of in-house or agency experience leading integrated, cross-channel campaigns, with a compelling portfolio of distinctive work.
- A diverse portfolio demonstrating the ability to develop, lead, and elevate campaigns on complex B2B subjects for the US market in English; portfolio submission required.
- Proven ability to operate successfully in a matrixed environment and build trusted relationships across a diverse group of colleagues and senior US-based stakeholders.
- Strong conceptual and strategic thinking, with the ability to balance creativity and innovation with business priorities and proof points.
- Executive presence, with the ability to present ideas, make recommendations, provide clear rationale, and advise leaders on communications and marketing strategy.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams, delegating work, and providing high-quality creative feedback that improves output and develops talent.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, including the ability to distill complex and emerging topics into clear, compelling language.
- Fluency across digital and traditional channels, including social, content, and video.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives and competing deadlines with minimal oversight.
- Experience in professional services, consulting, or other B2B marketing environments preferred.
