Position Overview
Epic-certified professional with 3–6 years of hands-on experience in EHR configuration and system builds, with strong knowledge of US healthcare workflows. Experienced across the full SDLC, including design, build, deployment, defect management, and Agile delivery practices. Skilled in estimation, SLA adherence, root cause analysis, and comprehensive documentation. Proactive in driving process improvements, automation, and innovation to deliver high-quality, value-focused solutions aligned with industry needs.
Responsibilities
- Apply industry knowledge to requirements gathering and analysis, ensuring alignment with sector needs.
- Demonstrate expertise across the entire software development lifecycle, from design and coding to deployment and defect resolution, collaborating with stakeholders for effective delivery.
- Conduct peer and team reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Actively engage in Agile practices, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and effort estimation.
- Build and share business process knowledge, supporting project knowledge management and team training.
- Proactively recommend process improvements, track efficiency gains, and contribute to automation and innovation, all aimed at enhancing project outcomes and delivering greater value to clients.
Skills & Experience
- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in EPIC.
- Understand US healthcare workflows.
- Experienced in performing configuration changes and system builds in EHR (Electronic Health Record) platforms.
- Experience in Agile, waterfall and related tools.
- Ability to perform estimation of work products.
- Ability to understand Service Level Agreement (SLA) methodology and follow the same as per engagement requirements.
- Perform problem management activities such as Root cause analysis of incidents.
- Excellent documentation skills such as - Application understanding, change management etc.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility to adapt and apply innovation to varied business domain and apply technical solutioning and learnings to use cases across business domains and industries.
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office tools.
- Certification: Certified in any Epic module in Clinical, Revenue Cycle or Technical (e.g., ClinDoc, Optime, ASAP/Orders, Ambulatory, Resolute PB/HB, Grand Central, etc.).
