Position Overview
Bachelor’s degree in Plastics Processing, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Min. 7-10 years relevant working experience in sales or business development, preferably in
the medical device market and/ or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong sales, influencing skills, focused and results oriented. Proven track record in growing
business and winning new projects.
Ability to analyse and translate market, customer, and application requirements or opportunities into effective sales activities.
Knowledge of international medical, healthcare and biopharma market applications, needs and regulatory requirements, polymer related experience and know how as a plus.
Proficient in MS Office and knowledge in other tools like SAP, Sales cloud, etc. will added
advantage.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills. Ability to work with people from diverse
cultures and functional disciplines.
Willingness for international travels for business development purposes.
Proficiency in Hindi is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for turnover and result for the assigned sales territory mainly India, Bangladesh,
- Sri Lanka.
- Acquisition of new customers and active development of existing customer relationships support including professional technical and commercial support service for newly acquired customers.
- Coordination and driving of customer projects in collaboration with the colleagues at the HQ
- Germany.
- Professional cultivation of and networking at existing defined target and strategic customers, as well as new customers on all levels (R&D, Quality, Purchasing, General Management etc.).
- Provide market research related to regional customer base, applications, and competitive
- activities, as well as industry and technology trends.
- Creation and realization of business plans including updating tools, which are fixed from HQ,
- especially Sales Cloud, DMS and SAP systems, etc.
- Preparation of the budget planning for the assigned sales territory in cooperation with Head of
- Sales Asia-Pacific and Executive Board.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
